• Chemical resistance – Due to the glass they are constructed from, they have a good resistance to chemicals

What is a Zone 1 area?

As classified by HSE, a zone 1 area is an area in which an explosive gas atmosphere is likely to occur in normal operation. It is worth noting that the zone definitions take no account of the consequences of a release. A site inspector should be able to tell you what areas of a site are classified as zone 1 and if your tower will meet the standard.
